During my internship at the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency, I got the opportunity to work under the Vision Zero initiative.

Vision Zero had given grants to several community organizations backing projects dedicated to teaching communities about traffic safety. I was tasked to write newsletters about these organizations, their backgrounds, and how they were planning to use the grant money in their projects. These newsletters were sent out once a month and reached over 2000 subscribers! This project was unlike anything I have ever done before. I had to write drafts, send them in for approval, and rewrite them depending on edits. I found the opportunity to participate in outreach and digital marketing really fun and seeing the newsletters arrive in my own inbox was rewarding.
